What are your credentials?

I have my Master's in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (Class of 2010). I am licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania. Further, I am a member of the Pennsylvania Society for Clinical Social Workers and the National Association of Social Workers. My practice experience includes work in skilled nursing facilities, medical case management, home and inpatient hospice, and integrated behavioral health.

What is your supervision style?

As a clinical supervisor, I view myself as a guide. You know what your strengths and areas for growth are; my role is to help you examine them deeply. I am a firm believer in self-reflection and self-care. I also feel that your time and money are valuable and encourage my supervisees to set the agenda in our meetings.

How do we start?

Supervision relies on building a relationship with the foundation of trust, confidentiality, support, and a desire (from both parties) to learn. To that end, we need to feel comfortable working with each other. I like to begin with a meeting (either via phone or in person) to talk about your needs and expectations.
